Which Pokémon Do You Want On Your Sun And Moon In-Game Team?

With the new game releases around the corner, have you considered which Pokémon you'd like to have on your team through your Alola region journey? Post below with your temporarily planned team(s)!

After looking through the officially revealed Pokémon, and the Alola region leaked Pokédex from the demo, these are the Pokémon I've currently decided on using for the main story!

Rowlet will definitely be my starter Pokémon, myself being a huge fan of owls, and given its final design, Decidueye, being both very cute and cool at the same time. I'm also not the biggest fan of the other two choices, and Decidueye's Grass/Ghost typing will be pretty fun.

This Bug/Electric type Pokémon, Vikavolt, has to be one of the coolest looking early game Pokémon available for Sun and Moon! And with its helpful ability in Levitate, and stab Bug moves, make it a great addition to the team.

My mega evolution would be M Gyarados, who could also take advantage of avoiding Ground type moves before mega evolving. It also resists a lot more of the teams weaknesses before and after mega evolving.

My favourite, Alolan Raichu will be the only Alolan form on the team, and my primary Z-Move user. With its Electric/Psychic typing, it will be dealing heavy stab damage, resisting other team members weaknesses, and using Volt-Switching shenanigans.

​

This little Pokemon, Mimikyu, is both adorable and helpful for the team typing wise. With 3 immunities, and a good amount of resists, and fantastic ability, there is no reason not have it on the team!

​

Last, but definitely not least, is Silvally. With its high speed, and ability to change its typing (and signature moves typing) it will aid in countering any weakness my team might not have an answer for, or just be a stand alone Pokémon on the team! For now, it will be primary Steel typing.

Edit: I'm not making any decisions on my competative team for now, though based on appearance only these pokemon are the ones I want. Alolan Raichu would be nice too, cause u know, It floats on its tail! How adorable is that!?

I changed up my Sun in-game team, but I need some help for the last Pokemon...

The three main Pokemon I want to use are Decidueye, Gyarados, and A Raichu.

My mega for this team will be M Lucario, mainly because Gyarados flying typing helps out greatly, and M Lucario is a beast. Along with the fact that mega evolution is in post game, I can still take advantage of Lucario Fighting/Steel typing in both non-mega and mega form.

A Stoutland was considered in place of A Raticate, but the normal/dark typing work nicely on this team, and create a Fighting/Dark/Psychic core. This A Raticate handles ghost types, resists dark types which other team members are weak against, and I want to try super fang + toxic.

The Gyarados is immune to ground types, and is bulky with intimidate, it is x4 weak to electric types though. A ground type might work best for the final slot of this team?

Mmmm I'm gonna rock a popplio, Zmove splash mega gyrados, UB beauty, UB gluttony, Alolan marowak, and alolan muk. We sweeping everyone with this advanced combo madness.

I'm running Araquanid, Decidueye, Golisopod, Kommo-o, Lycanrock(midnignt), and either Shiinotic or vikavolt. Loving Araquanids passive, it does so much haha.
