I definitely agree with all of this <3I don't have an issue with Mega Bird Jesus being a thing honestly nor classics getting mega evolutions. Since classic Pokemon are more popular it shouldn't be a surprise that they are getting megas.
I would like to see some generation 5 Pokemon though. Spread the love to the one generation that hasn't received any megas and then stop.
I will be upset if they give Pikachu a mega, mascot or not I think final evolutions should be the only ones to receive a mega form. They might have mentioned some sort of Pikachu mega stone in the anime though "if rumors are correct".

Its a little ridiculousI must say. Its a gen 3 remake, and we are mostly getting gen 1 megas. Where is Flygons and Milotics Megas!!!???

I still wish that gen 5 and 6, much like @phenix would get more megas. Hoenn and Kanto Pokes have seriously been overloaded with them, and what do the others get? Mega Diancie and Mega Audino, the second only being all right at best. It's not even just those two, I'm still waiting on more Sinnoh megas. We only have about 5 or so (probably less) that have been revealed, but I feel there's a lot of options as far as potential megas go.
Gamefreak, I'm slightly happy, but tbh, stop with the nostalgia - enough is enough.
