Dusk balls work in Mirage spots?

I have a question. When I am trying to catch an Azelf in the Mirage Spot in a cave, will the Dusk Ball still has it's bonus effect? The area you see in the background during the battle itself is not a cave, therefore my question.

you can see the place from the background, if the background is not a cave then it wont work

I am pretty sure that it only matters whether it is at night or in a cave. I don't think being in a mirage spot impacts the catch rate of a pokemon. The only thing, I think, that matters is the external conditions

no, fact is how ball works is depends on the internal conditions that you see when youre on battle

Shouldn't it work? Since it works during night, that one should be a definite yes.
