Hey guys so I decided on my first playthough I'd run the story via nuzlocke!

I'll keep updating this thread as my story progresses so stay tuned!

Route 1
Saved Birch's life, I was rewarded with my very own Treecko!

Welcome to the team Celery! (A female too! How rare)

Oldale Town
Nice lady gives me potions
Bought some more potions
Talked to the locals

Route 103
Had some training
Went back home for my dex and some pokeballs
Scooby the Poochyena was caught!

Route 102
Trained some more
Nearly lost both pokemon to fell stinger surskit sweep after a crit killed scooby :/then proceeded to catch said surskit and named him "D" by accident

RIP Scooby, you were young, you were cute, you were a friend

D Was holding Honey!

Petalburg City
Met papa Norm
Wally -_-

Route 104
Caught a Tailow with Refresh and no attacking moves -_- Meets Smalls!

Battle some more, Heal up, Move on

Petalburg Woods
Go in hoping for Shroomish, super excited to find a Slakoth
Say hello to Fudge the Slakoth!

Smalls got Quick Attack!
EXP Share YAAAAAS!

Route 104 (cont.)
Had some battles
Got a Wailmer Pail
Training Hard to be the best

Rustboro City
Ran through, got Cut

Route 116
Caught Wubwub the Whismur!

Rustboro City
After coming back to fight the gym Celery evolved facing one of the gym trainers!

She also learned Fury Cutter!
We then went on to earn our first badge
Went on to save some people, then went to deliver a package

Dewford City
Got an Old Rod
Caught Oscard the Magikarp!

Granite Cave
Found a Makuhita!
Accidentally killed it >.<

Dewford City
Beat the secnd gym! Got my second badge woohoo!

Slateport
Visited the museum!
Got a contest pass, Got myself a Cosplay Pikachu! (Put him in the box)

Route 110
Caught myself a Gulpin named Skag!

Later on that same route, Wubwub evolved!

Fudge also evolved!

Then Smalls joined the party!

Evolution #4 on this route! Oscar!!

Decided to train some before fighting Wattson in the next town

Mauville City
Explored, passed through to go train some before fighting an electric leader with my huge electric weakness

Verdanturf Town
Passed through to use the tunnel

Rustboro Tunnel
Returned to battle some users, D evolved!

Route 117
Decided to battle all of the trainers for practice and experience!

Mauville City
I'm back for the gym badge, Fudge learned Slash, I'm feeling good!
I won my third badge!

Route 111
Smashed a rock and caught a geodude! Named him Flex

Switched Flex in and Boxed D for a while

Route 112
Caught Lesner the Machop! Replaced WubWub for coverage

Fiery Path
Flex got replaced by Mitch the Numel, our newest addition!

Route 114
Rogue Wailmer kills lesner, RIP :/
Same Wailmer slaughters Mitch
After mourning our new friends I soon after caught Qtip the Swablu who sits safely in the box, Wubwub and Flex are back in the main squad!

You actually keep way better track of this stuff than I do. :/

Last Nuzlocke I did I used a randomizer and frustratingly enough I lost my starter, Fireball, about an hour in. Never did come across another starter besides opponents.

Yeah it's sometimes hard to track the progress but I try to do it as things happen ^.^

Thanks but, I'm trying to avoid spoilers by being vague and just saying routes and gym leaders, I won't even mention champion names or delta episode stuff probably it's about my pokes not the story ^.^

From past experience of nuzlockes (just if you want my opinion), don't evolve it. Because of Truant, it's a turn where you guaranteed to take a hit (unless they recover or use status) which just weakens your team overall. But anyway, your choice

It isn't easy but it makes for a nice fun change of pace as opposed to the normally easy story mode in pokemon games ^.^

Dang! that seems like a lot of fun
I wouldn't dare to do a Nuzlocke challenge because I would become an emotionally wreckage
in the heatest of moments.
But what I wanted to ask, if i try suchlike challenge, is it possible to idk, play without saving so your old game file doesn't get overwritten? like it was in the old days
