Basically you know the ability your poke'mon has right? Like how a starter fire poke'mon like Chimchar has the ability Blaze which powers up fire moves it health is 1/3 or lower, well there are abilities that are a little more rare for example Iron fist Chimchar which increases punching moves power by ~20% (someone correct me if I'm wrong)
