I've been talking to some top sellers and they think that having these features would be beneficial to all of the sellers and buyers in the site.

    Ability to make PC Hidden.
    Credit: ¤55,143 ----> Credit: ¤Hidden

The reason I want this feature the most is because PC = Money, and it's just normal if you want your money hidden and don't want it to be seen by people around.

Most of the new users here are also just making shop because they see people with 50-100k PC and creating threads that they would just end up closing, wasting site space.

Some of the sellers too are getting spiteful if they see you earning PC while they don't, making them undercutting you or talking shit about you in the sb, it's true, I know some people talking shit about me in the sb while I'm not around.

I also have some customer that is getting annoyed by people messaging him every time he top up 10,000 PC.

If PC is set to hidden or private, users should not be able to be seen in the Top Richest, Top Poorest, Top Earned In Day and Top Spent In Day section

Blocked users should not be able to see your thread.
I want to block certain people sniping my thread for sales, possible work around on this one is to log out and view the thread but if you give the guest users limitation to only see the first post(post #1) of every thread and put "Please login to see this post" in the post #2 to the latest post the block feature should work.

Another possible work around is to ask for a friend to view the thread but it's a hassle, creating a second account is possible too but that would result in a ban.

+1 this Idea. We really need more privacy in this place. Finding people to hate on is easy if you follow the money and I frankly don't like it.

The ever humble Chaos. :p I kind of like the option to hide your PC honestly, but I don't know if the blocked user thing makes a lot of sense. Sure there are times it could be helpful, but it could also be rather harmful on general chat threads. Maybe some kind of work around might be able to make sales threads special in some way, but overall I think it could potentially be more of a nuisance than anything. I can't honestly say I have a better way to stop sales sniping though.

Yeah, I agree, a lot of problems may arise in the thread blocking but the hiding PC is what we really want the most and the thread blocking is just us wishing. :)

I can agree on a PC privacy option.

For the second idea maybe blocked user could no longer have permission to view threads posted by the blocker.

As for blocking guests from viewing threads I'm not sure how that would go over seeing how many new members join from viewing these threads and wanting to buy too.

Work around on this one is to have the thread creator the option to make the guest to see his whole thread or just his first post of the thread but I guess coding this one would not be an easy task and not worth it just to prevent 1-3 people sniping your thread.

Thanks for the tag Cheza, I think this sounds like an excellent idea.
I'll run it past Doulie when he gets home tonight.

For me its better if perfectpoke still showing the amount of pc everyone have
Because from the pc we can know that seller is trusted or not :)

Well the solution to that would just be to check out the seller's profile, would it not? Many users have feedback left on their profile pages when a sale goes down right.

By that logic, you have 1000 PC, I have 80000, does that mean I'm more trusted than you or when I cash out and drop down to 0 PC does that mean you are more trusted now? No, we are both trusted sellers regardless so the PC amount doesn't matter, it all depends on the feedback or your service to show how great seller you are. Same logic applies to the customers, you need to get the PC first every transactions as per site rule so it doesn't matter if they have them hidden or not.

I don't know, this seems like a good idea actually. It can prevent any kind of unwanted trouble as well.

    1. Is an idea we struggled with when we created the website. Back then we decided that showing PC would create competition, which will in-turn be good for the community --- Today, i feel like we've grown enough to where we do not need PC competition on the website. I do think that higher earning users, like yourself @Chaos, inspire other members and newbies to earn pc... but i also respect your need for privacy.
I will add this feature to the list of changes we are rolling out on the website. Please understand that there are many more changes ahead of this one however, and this change my not be as simple as it appears since there are parts of the website where your PC is used to calculate things not related to your account.

    2. Imitators are something you will have to deal with in any open market. This second feature is not something we plan on implementing any time soon.

I understand, thanks for the reply. As much as I love inspiring others, I just hate that the new users here doesn't understand that it takes commitment to be a successful seller and not undercuting prices, I know its a common business tactic but there are a lot of people [IATS] that strive hard to push the prices back to where it would make our time worthwile, it's especially hard to explain the price bump to the customers that's been used to below 100 PC price back then, but now, we love where the current prices stand and making the PC hidden would benefit in privacy and new users would have a second thought if they are willing to commit themselves into selling and not just selling because they see some guy with 30,000 PC and thought they could make the same amount by ruining the standard prices that many sellers worked hard raising up, yeah I understand if they make it 10-100 PC less, but 20 PC each? We don't want our regulars to see that and get used to that pricing, those sellers would leave the site because they can't even get to 1200 PC cash out point, leaving the customers the impressions that above 20 PC were overpriced. It would benefit some customers as well that want their PC to be hidden and doesn't want to be bombarded by messages by some people who saw them top up large amount of PC. I'm not saying that making the PC hidden would stop those kind of sellers, but it will still help to lessen the sellers with no commitment and just ruining all the hard work that the other sellers done because they would just leave the site in the end and implanted that 20 PC service in the customers mind. I know I'm not alone on this one, I'm pretty sure some of the top threads like @pplzdude and @Meruem experienced this themselves. We are happy that you considered to implement the hide PC option, thanks doulie.
