They'll probably ban it anyway along with X.

Smogon were the leading crusaders in Charizard hate in Gen 5.
The nostalgia idiots didn't help but Smogon made it worse.

I could see X being banned due to the effects after a DD (and now that they've taken away a lot of its checks/counters) but Y has that crippling SR weakness to take into account.

To be fair, Mega Pinsir is actually insanely strong, and I could see a suspect test happening soon. I'm gonna estimate 84% say ban.

M. Pinsir shouldn't be switching out once it has mega'd anyway. Once it is in, it is in to stay and sweep.
