Just a reminder:
To all members, Intrusive Advertising is not allowed. Intrusive Advertising is the act of contacting a user who has not even requested to buy anything and trying to push your goods upon them. It has become increasingly popular for users to try to push sales via PMing everyone online advertising their shop or even to post on their profiles/walls.
Other instances of intrusive advertising include attacking every user in the shoutbox with your link telling them to check out your shop! Dropping a link once in a while very spaced out is alright but please use this method sparingly!
Advertising in the trade forum on trade threads where the user explicitly offers pokemon for pokemon is intrusive. They went to the trade forum as opposed to the buy/sell forum for a reason! Be mindful of this!
Making a new thread to advertise a sale in your current thread is spam and intrusive, do not do it!
This is our website's equivalent to door to door salesmen and annoying telemarketers and it is not needed. It may drive away users or make them feel uncomfortable.
Just a heads up, nothing too serious but spamming your shop link or intrusively advertising are both minor infractions of the rules so just don't do either.
If every user with a shop or something to sell PMed every user online offering them goods and services then this website would not be as enjoyable as it currently is so do your part and be courteous with your advertising!
