I know we put our time zones into this site when we fill out our profile, so why are we not able to see the time zones of other users? Time zones are a monster-sized hindrance when making sales across the pond, and being able to see them wouldn't really intrude any privacies.

I propose we put the time zones of other users onto their profile pages, because it'd really help both sellers find their customers faster, and help buyers find a seller that'll best fit their time zone needs.

I know of other forums, especially even less sophisticated forums using SimpleMachines and vBulletin, that show other users' time zones. Why can't we do the same?

Some users prefer to keep their location hidden. For the ones that don't, their location is a clickable link under their username on their profile. That link leads you to a google maps pull up of the country they are in, and you can get a general sense of their timezone from there.

We may look into adding this time zone feature in the future. But many people are online at odd hours, regardless of what timezone they're in... so this feature doesn't feel crucial at the moment.

By far, the most effective way to predict when someone is going to be online is to ask them.
