VGC is…… fun.

So, this thread is mainly for the focus on this upcoming tourney. I want to use this thread as a form of competitive practice for this tourney. Since I have found out that this tourney will be following VGC 15 rules, not 16, these mons are therefore banned:

So, maybe we can use this NOT as an RMT thread, that is a completely different thread. But maybe for other players to get some practice with a VGC cored team, or try out a team you made etc. I will use these as well, and if you have questions regarding VGC, you can try the Mentoring thread or even PM me. VGC is a little more competitive than Single matches, so its gonna be tough, for the new kids most importantly. Another big thing to know (for those slightly comp. members) is too avoid "gimmicky" teams. These teams consist of very "unreliable" forms of combat. Example: Beat Up Terra or even Perish Teams. The reason why is because as a Strong Player (not to brag ) I try to make sure other people do not get mixed up with these teams as they are more fun than competitive. Just a little nudge for you other battlers.

Here are additional rules if your lazy :

• All matches are played in the Doubles format.
  
• Pokémon above Level 50 will be brought down to 50 for the match while those below 50 will stay as is.
  
• Players choose 4 of their 6 registered Pokémon after team preview.
  
• Pentagon Rule: All Pokémon must have the blue pentagon on their stats page indicating they were caught, bred, or received as an official gift in Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby, or Alpha Sapphire.
  
• Species Clause: No two Pokémon on your team can share the same Pokédex number.
  
• Item Clause: No two Pokémon on your team can hold the same held item.
  
• The following items are banned:
