Hello there, Kb stands for "Kalos born" or "Kalos bred". This is usually referring to a pokemon that was legitimately caught/bred in game gen 6, as opposed to being created by some other device or software.

False. Kalos (the region pokemon X/Y take place in) born refers to pokemon that are from gen 6 games, regardless of genned status or not. To tell if a pokemon is Kalos Born, you can check if there's a pentagon on it's in-game screen. We used Kalos Born before the release of pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and it's basically stuck ever since, even after the release of ORAS. This may also refer to ORAS, however, because it's still a gen 6 pokemon. Gen 6 pokemon are not limited in rating battles, while non kalos born pokemon are. Really, that's the only thing to it.

BR is also commonly used on this site. BR stands for battle ready. Battle ready refers to the pokemon's stats. If the IVs, EVs, Nature, and moveset are in place and set for online competitive battling, a pokemon is considered battle ready. Otherwise, the only things you'll have to know otherwise is "LF - Looking For" and "FT - For Trade"
