Charizard ancient power pretty usefully cuz it help take out other fire or flying types that resistant to his other moves for super effective damage. It has help me a few times

I have mixed views about this comment really. 1/2 setters + Venusaur is a usual OU Sun team so he shouldn't be looking to run loads of random Chlorophyll users just because he can because most of them aren't really that viable.

Whilst I like the team, there are a few issues I see:

IMO you need a second way to clear hazards. When Tentacruel goes down and your opponent sets up rocks, your Charizard basically becomes a sack, Dragonite can't perform properly and Ninetales just takes unnecessary damage.

I'm also moving this thread to RMT - where it belongs. Also, please give us some EV spreads and moves to work with as those are the rules of the sub-forum, not to mention we can judge your team easier.

• Why no Air Slash on Zard Y?
• What do the EV spreads do on Venusaur, Tentacruel and Ninetales
• What hidden power on the Venusaur
• IMO Nasty Plot Ninetales would be way to hard to set up. It doesn't have max speed, it doesn't have the best defence - gl finding a time to make it work

I did double post, look at the first line xD At least I had a reason kek

Didn't even notice that speed on Char Y (or lack of) - run 252 Timid xD

Charizard has 252 spd. I thought spd means speed cuz spdef is special defence.
Any way focus blast miss to much for me so I switch to dragon plus. It help me take weakened dragons out. I have thought about putting air slash on him I will have to look into it. Ninetales has a few flaws but I can't think of other ways to do her outside of this I tried straight special attacker with max speed but didn't do well so I change it to this and it's done better than I expected

U wont touch a spD wall like chansey or blissey without it and the damage that dragon plus would do to a dragon is less then the damage a stab sunny day flamethrower would do imo ur just wasting a move slot and giving a fairy predict swap 2 run down the sun turns a chance

If we're talking about Showdown

SpD = Special Defence
Spe = Speed

(note the case, it's important)


Also, you do realise that Focus doesn't do crap to Chansey? a) Fire Blast does more to Chansey and b) You don't leave special attackers in on Chansey.

Gotta disagree with this. Volc adds nothing to the team really. Char + Ninetales + Venu is fine for semi-Sun, and having Volc just adds another 4x weak Rock mon - just having one spinner doesn't make up for it.

Wellll u can call it semi sun team but he never answered as what he was going for sooo i can say wtevs

Honestly i'd swap ninetails with volc (notice how u didnt ask who id replace) other then rocks its more viable in my opinion.
