Hey, I'd also like to introduce myself to you 
When I was a kid I always wanted to buy a pokemon game and these were the times when pokemon platinum was just released... So standing in the shop I had to decide between Platinum and Pokemon Ranger 1.
Shame on me, I took PKMN Ranger, bc I was amazed by the way to catch pokemon...
Nowadays I kind of regret this decision, but Ranger was still an awesome game ^^
My first REAL game has been Soul Silver and after all these times I still sometimes wish for such a device like the pokewalker
Long story short: I'm no player from the very beginning, but I have played every generation at least once and I enjoyed every hour of it <3
