Is Magic Guard Clefable w/ Softboiled worth the hassle?

I was all set to breed and train a Clefable for a new team, when I discovered how arduous it is to get a Clefable with magic Guard to know softboiled. If you're unfamiliar with the struggle, here's the issue: the only way for a clefable to learn softboiled is through a move tutor in FireRed and LeafGreen (which, as I'm sure you know, you can only use once). Not only that, but Magic Guard wasn't added as an ability for Clefable until gen 4, so you have a 50/50 chance that your Clefairy (upon evolving it in gen 4) won't have the right ability. And then there's the issue of hyper training it once you finally get it all the way to gen 7.

So what do you think; is this one move on this particular pokemon worth the trouble?
