He's saying this because Acid Armor and Counter both have to chain-bred onto Goodra, so that will take a lot of breeding to make it.

Counter comes from Scraggy, which has to come from Slakoth family/Lucario.
Acid Armor comes from Skrelp, which has to come from Shellos, which has to come from Grimer Family.

I actually do have a goodra that fits what he wants, except that I have to re ev train it, and it's Modest nature and not calm.
