In my opinion,it would be Victini~

Why? Cuz it CAN win any battle as it has the ability Victory Star! So maybe Victini should be the god instead of Arceus(even though Arceus IS GOD,it is still no match for Victini lol)

So where did the egg come from?

And youre right,Arceus IS a Pokemon,given the fact that it hatched from an egg.

However,where are his parents? Who gave birth to him?

The problem is,why doesnt GameFreak reveal Arceus' parents?
Then maybe a new Pokemon would be a good addition to anyone's team lol
