Hi, can anyone shown me how to tell the pokemon in hacked or not from online trade?

sometime don't have blue pentagon still able use online , I got few pk without BP but still able to use online. are there anyway to tell befor made the trade?

Not before the trade but if it's a shiny locked Pokemon and its shiny its def hacked

before you trade with someone you can also ask them for the id and ot of the Pokémon to see what they are and if it is an event Pokémon you can ask them if it has the right pokeball and ribbon. Also just because a Pokémon doesn't have the blue pentagon doesn't mean that it is hacked it just means it is form a past generation and cant be used in rating battles.
