Active Help with EV horde training?

So I'm currently EV training my Pokémon with pokerus and the macho brace. My Lucario's Attack stat before I battled was 161 and after I'd battled a horde of Shuppet for Attack Evs the stat was 164! I thought that everytime I battled a horde I would get 50 more stats, not 3!

Im new to the whole EV training so sorry if its something really obvious!

At level 100 every 4 EVs is 1 stat point. Killing that horde you got 20 EVs, given how many stats you got, I'm guessing your Lucario is around level 60.
