Is anyone else's game running laggy af?

Apparently it's an issue with Game Freaks development of the game.. Unless they patch it, it will stay laggy. However handheld mode is less laggy to docked

Haven't gotten it yet, won't get time to play till around later. Then I'm gonna marathon it. I don't want to only play a bit and then stop for periods of time. Hopefully by then another patch will be out.
