Suggestions for a wifi router

Hey guys, I'm heading back to college soon and was looking to get a router for my dorm. Does anybody know what I should be looking for or know of one I should be using? Thanks everyone!

How many devices do you plan on using at the same time and what price range are you looking for?

Potentially 4 computers and 4 phones, and I'm on a mid-range budget, nothing too high though

8 devices is a pretty penny's worth. I personally use Netgear and haven't had any problems until recent because of the fact that now it has 9 devices and it's an older model. If you don't want to worry too much about dual band don't use Netgear because not all devices can connect to it. Um I always hear bad things about Linksys and Belkin. Honestly it's pretty hard to choose I'll ask around actually.
