I want to know just how long you guys have been playing Pokemon. Personally i think i only really got into it with Leaf Green, although i still own a copy of Gold.

Ever since Pkmn Red and Blue came out, but i wasnt competitive til Gen 6.

I think i only got actually competitive in gen 6 as well. But then again i'm still pretty crap today.

Played Red and Blue as a kid, but never owned my own until the release of FR/LG. Got into competitive battling as soon as HG/SS came out and been playing ever since :]

Started with crystal gold blue and yellow

I started with R/B/Y then went on to S/G/C skipped R/S/E and FR/LG, got back in with Platinum but didn't get competitive until XY

Started with Crystal, then went to gen 4 then back to gen 3 - officially started competitive in HGSS though
