In ORAS when i chain shiny using Dex Navigator, if i accept online battle challenge will that interupted the chain?

I tried using it, and it worked twice in a row! I think it's fine, but it seems from my experiencing that as long as you meet the same Pokemon at least 200 times in a row, nothing much can interrupt it.

I just learn that chaining for shiny is pretty much pointless. Just use the dexnav already increase the chance of encounter it, not by chain
