Description:
Although often overlooked, Ferrothorn’s attack stat is pretty nice. Boost it with a Curse or a Swords Dance combined with his powerful STABs and you’ve got yourself a nice surprise offensive ferrothorn to catch the opponent off guard! Swords Dance being preferred for the quick boost and damage, better paired with Explosion to hit hard. Curse is viable as well lowering speed which adds to Gyro Ball’s power as well as increasing Ferro’s already high defenses! Explosion and Bulldoze are both great moves for the fourth slot, bulldoze can hit steel and fire types hard on switches as well as lower speed, while Explosion can take out a major threat in one shot. The last move is up to the user and will also vary depending on the team, just like the setup move. Leftovers are my item of choice while a banded set not utilizing set up will work as well.
