Its about an SS-class criminal, Ragna the Bloodedge, who quest is to destroy the Cauldrons within the Novus Orbis Librarium (NOL for short) bases. He heads to Kagutsuchi to destroy the final cauldron, however news has reached Kagutsuchi that Ragna is in the city. But that not all, an NOL Major goes AWOL, this Major is Jin Kisaragi (the younger brother of Ragna) the Hero of the Ikaruga War. Ragna enters the "abandon" NOL Branch olny to be confronted by Jin.
