I'm not a mecha fan but Gundam 0079, Gundam Zeta, Gundam Victory, Gundam 00, and Gundam Wing are all REALLY good, I'd recommend 0079 (The original) or Zeta over the others, its more real and deep. If you just wanta taste of what Gundam is like, watch MS08th Team OVA, its like 12 episodes and REALLY good, it takesp lace DURING 0079.
