If Ivysaur starts spending more time lying in the sunlight, it’s a sign that the bud will bloom into a large flower soon. When the bulb on its back grows large, it appears to lose the ability to stand on its hind legs. Ivysaur will also start spending more time in sunlight in preparation for its upcoming evolution. Exposure to sunlight adds to the strength of both Ivysaur and its plant; it gives off a distinct, sweet aroma when it is ready to bloom.
