Open Mold Breaker with allied pokemons

Does Mold Breaker affect allied pokemon in double battle? For example, i have a Latios and HA Excadrill on my site and i decide to use EQ. Does this damage Latios as well? Yes i can always test this in online battle but i don't want to be looked like a fool so it safe to ask here. Thanks

I looked it up and I think mold breaker does apply regardless of who's pokemon it is
