Since they aren't technically shiny locked I think they should. Lunar Karps for instance can be traded. We can try at least. Since they are gonna be link traded can you nickname they?

They're events. Events can't be modified (OT, TID, Shiny Y/N, Ability). Only Nature, Moves, Nickname, IVs can be modified. Things that can be changed by soft-reseting. If the event is coded as non shiny, it will never be shiny. If the event is coded as shiny (like the Lunar Karp), it will be shiny no matter how many resets you do.
