Question about the Delta Episode

I understand that the Delta Episode is a new part added to the remake. I want to know however, if its a new part to storyline before the game is beaten, if its after game content or if its paid dsl content. Could you please provide some evidence that proves your answer is right such as a link to a site. Thanks.

Like phenix said they haven't released the specifics so we won't know until the game comes out or some info is leaked

Ok, I though that I missed something and wanted to see if someone else knew about it. I hope it is after game content thought. There is almost no thing good after game to do. I think that would be interesting.
