Today, it has been announced that the Eon Ticket will be distributed for ORAS in Japan, the UK and the US. It has also been revealed, quite strangely, that when you get this event, you can distribute it via StreetPass. However, you will not lose your original copy. For folks in the UK, it will be distributed via Junichi Masuda, starting the StreetPass sending on the 29th of November. Finally, serial codes in the US will be given away for Play Pokemon organisers and heads of StreetPass groups starting on November 21nd.

I love the Eon TIcket and I think street pass sharing for event items is a great way to promote the under-appreciated feature IMO

Damn, how can I get it in Portugal? Can it be traded or something? Or is it distributed as a Mistery Gift code?

I believe this is a great way to spread it to those that who can't not go to the events to receive it. I bet this will be spread to millions of people with-in two weeks through out the world.

Think about it some people who receive it will be traveling this will spread real quick. Everyone will be going different places. Therefore, different people will receive it. THEN they will go to new places and spread it. I believe that it will spread faster than others believe it to do so.

But since I bought my 2DS, I only met like 2 people on StreetPass, one of them being a friend I convinced to buy a 3DS and Pokemon X.

You are over estimating tis by alot. Where I live i've in 6 months I've only met 3 people. And they were all from the same region. The only i see it possibly spreading around the world is if it's powersaved and that somehow allows it to share via streetpass like the legit one.

Pokemon is more popular than you think. However, depending on your location the amount of time for it to spread will vary. The more traveled areas will have it first for obvious reasons. Places that many people don't go to will not receive it as quick. These places will have a hard time, true. I was speaking about international travel for people on planes mostly, taking it to new places, because in the airport there is all kinds of people going different places from the same starting point. I was a little extreme but, I believe that it will spread fast in certain areas. Give it a few months. If its not too successful they will do something to help it.

there are bound to be tourists from the UK visiting Portugal, so I expect that it will probably spread to you over the christmas holiday.
