Active Price Tiering Suggestion

During my time here at Perfect Pokemon, I've noticed that there is a lack of exchanges outside of the realm of 6IV battle ready Pokemon. I'd like to propose some sort of price tiering system, that includes lower prices for lower-demand items and services that can be produced by genners and non-genners, such as:
  • Non-6IV pokemon (dex fillers, pokerus etc.)
  • Bred pokemon (first evolutions, non specialized)
  • Items
  • Pokemon editing services
The main point of this would be to simply increase interaction and business on the site, especially between those with little PC and those who do not gen, and is not necessarily for profit. It is not meant to interfere with the selling of 6IV BR Pokemon at all (the 60 PC minimum would remain).

I've had a pretty lengthy discussion with a few members over the shoutbox, and the issues that have arisen include:
  • Bypassing the 60PC minimum by covering with a "dex filler" title
I believe the we can come up with a way to avoid these issues if we have a discussion and see what kind of rules or ideas we could implement. Please leave your comments below! I would appreciate thorough ideas with both benefits and issues considered.

ROUGH TIERING SYSTEM 3

Perfect, 6IV, Custom, Battle-Ready Pokemon-
60PC min

Pre-made Stock Pokemon-
55PC min

Pokemon Editing Services- 20PC min (maybe with extra 5PC charges per change)

Items (to be traded with *Breeding level Pokemon)-
25PC min
(to be traded with *Dex Filler level Pokemon)- 20PC min

*Breeding Pokemon (5IV, first evolutions, non-specialized, hidden ability, no item)-
20PC

*Dex Fillers and Pokerus (less than 5IV's, random stats and natures, no item)- 15PC

Pokemon Cloning Services-
10PC min per clone

I agree with this on the fact there has been a huge decline in the circulation of PC as well as member activity. I'm in complete favor of coming up with ways to fix the stalemate in the buying/selling issues, and would like to propose a Breeder Forum to fix at least part of the problem. It could help with these problems:
  • Help the flow of PC that has stalled in the PP site. This is an issue that has increased greatly in the last few months.
  • Raise PP member activity. With this, members might become more active with the help of the breeders of KB Pokemon.
  • Raise morality of the members of the site. Not only would the breeders be happier, but it could make members more positive.
  • Increase the support from the Breeder Community here in PP. This is important since the more popular shops only gen, the breeders are having a hard time keeping uop, but this will get them to be more positive and want to be more active since there are more breeders on this site then you may think.
With this, the Breeder Forum should help with the flow of PC and the overall activity of the members. That, and I think it would be pretty fun to do.

I second this. When I catch a shiny and have to pay 60pc to edit it's IVs I feel like I wasted my time catching a shiny. In addition I feel like all the item shops are useless cause you can get a bonus shiny Pokemon with the item. I feel like all the breeders and item shops can benefit from this change with little to no damage to full shops as most people do just want perfect Pokemon :)

  • Non-6IV pokemon (dex fillers etc.) . BIG YES TO THIS!!!
  • Legit bred pokemon . NO- no way to tell if pokemon is legit bred or genned
  • Items . YES . please dont include items on the minimum 60pc so if they want the item they can pay for it and if they dont want to , they can farm the battle maison all day lol . gives yo u sellers extra income as well
  • Pokemon editing services . isnt this and genning the same thing?

To address your issues, the difference I mean as far as bred Pokemon and edited Pokemon is
a) First-evolution Pokemon (likely 5IV discards, maybe with HA or egg moves for more PC)
b) Pre-owned Pokemon that need 1 or more changes (possibly with charges per change)

1) actually first evo pokes should be lower in price cause if it sells higher every genner will just say its bred when its just genned if they get more
2) if u meant changing 2 more iv or making it shiny or just changing nature then yes it should be priced per changes made XD

Ya, I was saying it should be lower. And yes that's exactly what I mean about edits :)

I agree completely, you shouldn't need to pay 60 PC for one pokemon that you're going to trade back anyways. Even if it's a legend. I think a breeder's forum is a great idea, for those of us *raises hand* that don't gen. Heck, I don't even clone my pokes!

I think that baby pokemon are 25PC (6IV'd) to edit pokemon it's 20PC and to buy big 6IV it's 50PC. but really I think that I don't care as long as they change the 60PC rule it's so IRRITATING espeiccaly with selling items!!!:(
Tbh 10 PC per attribute edited would be nice. Like 10pc for IVs another 10 for EVs . It would turn out quite nicely :)

Honestly, 20 per item would be fair, and maybe 15 for per edit change, depending on what it is. I think that would fair, don't you?
Ya I think 20 per item is good, considering it involves some trading time and such. Maybe 10 per change? that way if you wanted to get 6IV's it would still be 60PC.

If you guys want I can make a rough tiering list later that we can work on. Or you guys could :)

The reason why the prices were changed because a lot of people are abusing the system, way too much. If you want this implemented you need active mods to check every thread or transactions to check if no one is abusing it, which unfortunately this site doesn't have. Not saying that mods are incompetent, they are doing a great job in the site but they have lives too and can't always check the site. Issues like for example; selling a full Pokemon for a price of an item because you need a Pokemon to trade an item anyways may arise. I know few people that would love to abuse this just to get sales. If some users are having trouble with this, don't blame the rules. Blame those guys because they were the reason the rule changed. Most people here were happy selling with 20 PC minimum rule in place, until some people abused it to the next level. It changed for the better in my opinion.

Ya, I understand why the prices were changed, and I'm not saying the 60 minimum should be changed for perfect Pokemon: only for items and certain services. And to address the first issue, they already aren't able to check every thread and transaction. For all they know, people are currently "trading" perfect Pokemon for free or for very cheap. And perhaps a lower price for certain items would help avoid this^ altogether.

To address the second issue, that's up to the sellers to simply not do that for the sake of their own business. Anyone in their right mind wouldn't sell a perfect Pokemon for 20pc when they could be making 60pc by following the rules. There's not enough sales currently taking place on the site for them to expect to make more of a profit from selling cheap.

I agree but you would be surprised of how low people would go if there's no 20 or 60 PC rule. I've seen some crazy things like selling custom Pokemon for 1-10 PC before the mods told the thread that the minimum was 20. lol

I understand that. A lot of people already requested to separate the value of items from Pokemon since the rule changed but my guess is that's the reason why it hasn't been done.[/QUOTE]
