    Nope! A monotype team is any Pokemon that shares the chosen typing when it enters the battles. So Aegislash being Steel/Ghost type wouldn't be a problem because it has Ghost type as its secondary typing. :)

    Yes, gym battles are singles 6v6 OU matches (with the exception of the gym leader being allowed the use of one uber Pokemon or uber item.) :)
