Yup just to clarify ghost has to be primary typing and not secondary right so aegislash couldn't be in it?

Nope! A monotype team is any Pokemon that shares the chosen typing when it enters the battles. So Aegislash being Steel/Ghost type wouldn't be a problem because it has Ghost type as its secondary typing.

Matt gave me permission to open a Bug gym, but now I see that Red Dead opened one fairly recently. I see no thread however, so just confirming that it's mine?

Otherwise I would like to claim the Rock gym.

Ground type gym leaders been M.I.A for almost 2 months now after saying he was moving house and would respond to challengers asap, anything we can do about this?

I don't want to take leadership but need to challenge someone for the badge.

Unfortunately, unless someone takes ownership of the gym there will be no way to battle someone to earn the badge.

However, if you read over this thread http://perfectpokemon.com/threads/gym-leaders-earn-your-badge.4122/ you'll see that you can earn the badge simply by becoming the leader and doing a good job at being the leader.

Nope, unless someone voluntarily takes the gym there's nothing that can be done about it.

Yeah, @Cheza stated that if someone has time and capabilities to manage 2 gyms at one time, it's possible to have 2 gyms
