"Best" is a bad term. There's no such thing as the best team. Every team has flaws, but it's up to the trainer to have the skills necessary to overcome those flaws.

What you're looking for is "What common teams are seen in battle?" In which there are weather,set up,setters,sweepers,and bulky teams. In short there are three types of pokemon roles; tanks, sweepers, set ups. All of which can be your rock,paper, and scissors. Tanks beat sweepers, sweepers beat set ups, set ups beat tanks. Learning how to master this concept helps alot in battles.
