Oh boy, practically everything, but these main things, I can learn the rest:

• Predicting (I am so bad...)
• Team building
• Moveset

Those 3 are the most problematic for me.

Im pretty sure you need to teach him basic strategies for the team he is building, like what builds to create, what items to use, when to swap into another poke, etc.
