that's kinda just a thing you have to deal with. There's plenty of checks and counters to it in the tier if you just think through your plays and predict correctly.

They do run more than one move lol. Energy Ball, Thunderbolt, HP Fire, Trick, Psyshock/Psychic etc.

Never had any experience with the set tbh to give you a proper opinion :/ IMO, Scarf or Specs is the best way to go.

K so I'm gonna make a few noms here.

Gothorita: A+ --> S+
Reflecting the current discussion in the tiering council about Gothitelle and Gothorita going to ubers. TBH its insanely borked here anyway and I can't wait to give it an official ban, but for now S+ will do for this thing.

Ivysaur: A- --> B
Ivysaur is outclassed by Weepinbell for the most part. Weepinbell's access to Weather Ball in conjunction with Chlorophyll makes it so hard to justify using the weaker Ivysaur over it.

Onix and Boldore: A- --> B-
These are both outclassed by Graveler for the most part. Ranked way too high and should drop.

Prinplup: B+ --> A
As one of the premier Defog users in the tier, its pretty self-explanitory here. Also fat waters are hard to come by, giving it a pretty big niche. Prinplup is really good in the current metagame.

Vibrava: B- --> A
Yeah we've been severely underselling this thing. Between its incredible typing, good natural bulk and access to Defog, this Pokémon is really useful for a lot of teams.

Gabite: B+ --> A-
Gabite is also really good. I think Vibrava's access to Defog makes it slightly better given are limited options, but Gabite's niche is definitely very big. Rough Skin and Stealth Rock are very valuable assets.

Timburr --> Unranked
Please don't use this thing. Its literally a worse Machoke.

Vigoroth --> S+
Really, really good. Sub+Bulk Up is actual cancer.

There was also one other nom I was gonna make but I've forgotten it so it can't be that important.

I have one nom Vigoroth --> NU

Don't just ban it from NFE, this thing is the best Pokemon in PU. There was one point on Smogon PU where people in the community basically decided to not play this thing entirely on the basis of it being so ridiculously powerful that it wouldn't be fair (or at least that's the only reason I could come up with after I noticed every single RMT and sample team got 6-0ed by it). It's two powerful for PU and NFE. You shouldn't be forced to run a fighting type, and after a bulk up, it can probably take any hit from any fighting type (pretty sure that includes choice banded monferno and machoke.
